Miami Beach Home for Sale with Waterslide on Sale for $34M
House includes 43-foot waterslide, basketball court
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - It takes a lot for a new home to turn heads in the already crowded market of beautiful Miami Beach mansions, but one property has done the trick.
All thanks to a waterslide. A big waterslide.
The Wall Street Journal featured a new home called "Pine Tree South" located off Pine Tree Drive that was built by Miami-based Brodson Construction.
The asking price for the spec house is only $34 million.
The 13,500 square foot home features the aforementioned waterslide feature that runs 43 feet long and stands 20 feet high.
But that's not all. Not close.
A 2,500 square foot basketball building is also included, which developer Barry Brodsky, owner of Brodson Construction, told the WSJ that could also house a gym or movie theater.
It also sits on a canal with future plans for a boat dock to be built.
The interiors were done by Paulo Bacchi and his Miami-based Artefacto firm.
However, the true show stopper is the whimsical waterslide, a rare accessory to any house, Brodsky told the WSJ that the slide was designed to be an "architectural sculpture."
The WSJ says Brodsky bought the lot on which the house sits on for $11.5 million in 2014.
